Explain many ways in which you would establish ground rules with your scholars, and which in turn underpin conduct and esteem for others. Make clear ways to embed elements of functional skills within your specialist area. Explain the advantages of keeping records and describe the types of documents you would keep. State different assessment strategies available and explain those people you would work with for your area of interest, including mention of the initial analysis.

State the types of assessment documents you would finish and describe why. Produce a learning programme/scheme of work in your subject area, for a minimum of half a dozen sessions (the length of every session will be agreed between yourself and your tutor). Develop session plan(s) (these can be from the scheme of work or perhaps different) a minimum of thirty minutes. Deliver the micro-teaching practice session(s), demonstrating a selection of teaching and learning methods to engage and motivate scholars.

You need to connect appropriately and effectively with learners. You mustn’t deliver the same planned period more than once (total 30 minutes of delivery). Explain and warrant the reasons lurking behind your choice of educating and learning approaches and use of resources for one of your sent sessions.

Obtain feedback through your peers and tutor/observer, and complete a self evaluation to refelct and evaluate the performance of your own educating. Give feedback to your colleagues regarding all their delivery. (Peer feedback applies to micr-teach sessions only). Complete a reflecting learning journal after every assessment task completed and/ or session attended through the PTLLS programme.

At the end in the programme, develop a summative profile and plan of action.
