Why is elie wiesel s book night relevant today

In the book “Night”, Elie Wiesel describes the horrors he previously to go trough during Holocaust when Nazis took over Hungary. He was still a teenager at that time, at that encounter had worried him for a lifetime. The book war created in the the middle of fifties the times when Soviet Union was still being alive and well, and if Germany never started the war it will have been the USSR. The ideas of Lenin and Stalin weren’t much different of Hitler’s in the core.

There is a lot of racism taking place there as well, and the masses wouldn’t always be that hard to rise against others. The days of Ww ii seem to be seriously far away, and after this we are once again friends with Germany, despite all their actions of the past. But still there may be still racism and hate in the hearts of many people. KKK remains to be alive in US and has quite a few members, in other countries such as Russia so called skin head business has a wide range of power and has a wide range of members as well.

Wiesel’s book is still relevant today mainly because we are not really that faraway from the times of war and terror once one competition thought that it had been superior more than everyone else, and what consequences followed that people know from the book. It appears unbelievable the fathers of German people who we can see every day on the roadways of America could take a step like that. They seem like everybody else, and they have no ideas of Hitler’s universe domination in their blood, they may be not not the same as us, but still their ancestors were so easy to gather collectively under the flag of hate. Hate to everyone in the world besides themselves. The point is it doesn’t matter what kind of persons you making the effort to rise against others, they are often Germans, People from france, Russians, People in america or any person else-it’s not really that hard.

I don’t believe many people, especially in wealthier parts of the us, realize just how it sometimes could be hard to be unlike the majority. Is actually really easy to create people hate someone, but it’s a whole lot harder to teach them to end hating also to treat them with respect. I know that there will be more wars, but I am hoping that it will end up being over something different than racism and crazy ideas of world dominance, superiority. The concept of the publication is that we should be really careful not to duplicate the blunders of the past, we should let one other war happen and let so many people die when it concerns few years. Wiesel could have been worried that some thing similar may rise once again, maybe not really from Australia, but coming from some other country. He desired us to master on the errors of the past so we all don’t replicate them in the foreseeable future.
