He was a simple middle school male who had been raised to respect women and never strike them. His name was Ruben, an author of two best selling ebooks and had began his own publishing house in short he got it most to be a ideal husband and father. He is my friend.

His story begun when his wife wanted to have a sperm subscriber in order to get pregnant, even though their very own doctors arranged that they are all are physically fine and there’s no reason for his wife to not get pregnant and it was just 4 a few months since they are attempting but it appears that his wife was in rush intended for everything. On a Saturday nighttime of 1994, his partner Maria slammed him very hard when argue with her idea of using a sperm subscriber, he had faced her not to do that once again but instead she only verbally mistreated him by saying severe things such as Coward dog! These things harm him physically and psychologically.

It hasn’t end there his wife’s friend remaining a note that his wife would just use him to have a baby and later upon dumped him for divorce. Worst concerns worst when ever his wife was likewise hurt his mother physically which got resulted into a bone bone fracture in knees and hands. All of these happenings were reported to emmergency 911 but incongruously who would trust in our culture that a guy could be known as battered hubby? The police also threatened him that he can be busted for trespassing (imagine in the own home, which he bought simply by his personal money), in the event that he will go back inside the house.

Rather than arguing while using police and wait for the medical assistance for his mom, he just went away and went to the closest hospital and let the doctor reviewed his mother. As of today, Steve got his divorce and never saw his wife once again, but the unhappy part of this is certainly he acquired no justice at all. Think about if the situation was turned: the husband slammed his healthy and balanced wife because of not having a kid after 4 months of trying, shrugged off a written letter found simply by his wife where the spouse agreed with his buddy about dumping his wife after tricking her to become pregnant, beat his wife’s mom badly enough to essential x-rays. Do you really believe law enforcement and the legal courts would have cured that case in the same way?

Nowadays we have so many crisis centers for abused and molested women and kids. This centers helped them to get out and succeed the battle that they are facing but how about our alternative? I mean all those MEN in our communities, especially my friend, yes they can be as well victims of violence, and in addition they need the same kind of interest and security.

Our culture and govt should take these types of laws on the whole and not by gender since what was Ruben had experienced, people should not be biased concerning this matter even though the patient is a guy.
