The stereotypical father to a daughter is often large, safety, and very kind. Atticus, nevertheless , does not in shape the belief. He is kind, but as opposed to most dads, he is extra tall and skinny, and just has a tendency to read all day.

Atticus will not fill the stereotype; even so he is a father that parents his daughter with values and tolerance. He does be involved of fatherly figure, but Atticus seems to be significantly less of a daddy and more of any teacher in Scouts life. The way he instructs her about life, and about how to overcome people, it seems Atticus is usually attempting to be a teacher to Look. Atticus represents morality and reason directly into Kill a Mockingbird.

As being a character, Atticus is even-handed throughout the story. He is among the very few character types who never has to rethink his situation on an concern. His parenting style is pretty unique in that he treats his kids as adults, honestly giving an answer to any issue they have. He uses these instances because an opportunity to pass his principles on to Search and Jem.

Scout says that “‘Do you really believe so? ‘… was Atticus’ dangerous question” because he thrilled in helping people see a scenario in a fresh light. Atticus uses this method not only along with his children, but with all of Maycomb. And yet, for all of his adult treatment of Jem and Scout, he with patience recognizes that they can be children and that they will make idiotic mistakes and assumptions.

Ironically, Atticus’ a single insecurity seems to be in the child-rearing department, and he frequently defends his ideas regarding raising children to those more skillful and more traditional.
