The site defines water conservation like a term that “refers to reducing usage of fresh water, through technological or social strategies. ” To be able to encourage drinking water conservation, the website provides a spreadsheet that allows people to benchmark their water ingestion.

Based on the spreadsheet, a score of 0 means that water intake is probably increased, whereas a score of 100 almost certainly means drinking water is being properly consumed. The spreadsheet was created as a way of Public Casing Authorities to determine each project’s water intake in order to encourage more efficient drinking water consumption and reduce water related utility costs. The site as well provides an place for related links to other sites that provide water preservation tips. However, the only functioning link leads to the Natural Resources Preservation Service (sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture). This great site describes ways people can conserve water use in their backyards.
