The same idea can be expressed in Dante’s “Inferno. ” In this work, Dante is living in a world which has lost their way. Dante decides that he needs to find the right way to heaven and he aims on this mission. To reach paradise, Dante needs to travel through all the levels of heck. As Dante travels towards heaven, this individual journeys through the ten levels of hell. Each level symbolizes different sins and contains diverse sins. Most significantly, the sinners are being punished for their sin, with their punishments fitting to their offences. For example , the individuals who have sinned via difficulty are assaulting each other, those who took their own lives must spend perpetuity as trees and shrubs, while the robbers are converted into vipers. In each and every case, the individuals who have sinned are staying punished in a manner that is fitted to their offense. This demonstrates that human beings are responsible for their very own suffering, in which the wrongs they do leads to how that they go through. This is also found when Dante enters heck via the gate that leads to hell.
