What is culture identity? Traditions identity is usually appreciation and understanding of literary works and who also or what a person is definitely, identical sameness and unique character.

In addition, it means whatever you are and just how you live. In this essay I am going to write about “Search for my Tongue” by Bhatt and “Hurricane hits England” by Grace Nichols. I have selected them mainly because they use a mixture of poetic equipment, which makes the poem energetic and entertaining to read. First of all the composition Search for my Tongue is around her feeling abandoned and heart-rending mainly because she attended a place in which she forgot how to speak her mother tongue while speaking the foreign language, which is upsetting on her since she’s blissful regarding speaking her mother tongue.

She also tells us inside the poem about her activities and what she has been happening with her. I know this kind of because she uses a range of words to get e. g. “lost and spit” this will make me think that she is dropping her recollection of how of talking her very own language, since this is shameful on her behalf because her mother tongue can be part of her identity. Then again within the last part of the poem she is feeling glad and back to becoming natural mainly because her native language grew back in the night.

I know this mainly because she quotes ” it pushes the other tongue aside” this kind of line is beneficial because it makes me feel that she is happy of getting the chance to speak her language apart from the foreign language. The poem Look for my Tongue uses a number of different vocabulary devices pertaining to e. g. she says “grows longer, grows wet and increases strong veins” the poet used replication so that the lady can keep the pace going and the tempo run efficiently and that your woman just started a brand new life because she described it to be able. However she also uses personification. I know this because she exclaims “it ties the other tongue in knots” this makes myself think that the tongues are combating it out with each other just to tie the other person in knots.

This is powerful for someone because it engages with the audience so they can be involved in the composition. The poet also uses imagery terms so she can get a picture straight away in the readers mind. I know this mainly because she quotations “it increases back a stump of shoot”.

Secondly the poem Hurricane hits England by simply Grace Nichols is about her feeling in opposition from lifestyle in England which it took a hurricane to bring her backside closer and remind her of her memories. The poet is feeling scared and prominent.  I find out this because she estimates “fearful and reassuring”.

Can make me think that she is very afraid of things that are going to happen to her that she slept awake most of the night, on the other hand she’s ready to guard and hit anyone.  This is effective as it makes the visitor continue to browse until he/she finds out so what happened at the end. The poem Hurricane hits Britain uses a a comprehensive portfolio of techniques for elizabeth. g. she uses plenty of rhetorical questions for e. g. she estimates “tell me why you visit an English coast? ” This means that the girl with trying to inform the storm why achieved it visit her land and not someone else’s.

She is likewise trying to say that did your woman do anything bad that frustrated the typhoon. This is successful because your woman does not desire an answer even so she wants the reader to think about the answer while they are studying it that make it better to read. The poet likewise uses similes. I know this because the girl quotes “what is the meaning of trees falling weighty as whales”.

This means that the hurricane was so physically powerful that when a tree fell it was while heavy like a whale. This kind of line is beneficial because it the actual reader think about what might have happened if perhaps millions of woods fell which usually would have wiped out so many people and destroyed numerous homes.  The similarities with the two poetry are not quite the same mainly because in the articles the two poetry talk about the culture id and about their new place. The differences between two poetry. In the content Search for my Tongue is about language and Hurricane visitors England is about the environment. The poem Hurricane visitors England is full of rhetorical questions, which makes it boring and it makes the reader believe a lot.
