Aesthetic literacy in operation essay

Visual literacy is something which has been utilized for hundreds of years and it is something we use daily. We are going to explore the commonalities between the text and how Human brain Kennedy defines visual literacy; we can explore the way in which visual literacy has been considered a common language and examination just how visual literacy has made an effect in connection and the way global understanding. The method of visual literacy is used to aid with the learning process. In using visual literacy an individual will be able to start to see the use of styles, color, photos, dimension, textures and other aesthetic aids.

While using use and understanding of these types of features someone will be able to appreciate a visual sentence structure and to have understanding is definitely something that has been used for a while now. In the video i watched, Human brain Kennedy discussed visual literacy being “the ability to construct meaning via images. Is actually not a skill; it uses abilities as a toolbox.

This can be a form of crucial thinking that improves your intellectual capacity (Kennedy, 2010).

This allows people to get in touch with one widespread language and it can be used to assist bridge the gap that may be in different ethnicities. Currently several languages will be coexisting. It is necessary that we reevaluate the way that people communicate. All of us strive to find a way to communicate in one language and this is known as a way that this can be done. If we all spoke this general language then simply is may well be a way that may bring us deeper together.

When both the text and Kennedy will vary definitions, but they both concur that aesthetic literacy needs to be in the front of learning. Imagery is a universal vocabulary and it can inform stories that everyone can acknowledge and figure out. With image literacy it is just a way which the world can easily communicate in one consistent method. Images happen to be universal. With visual literacy you are bale to interpret and make that means from information in the form of an image. It is something which everyone can figure out.

While i was able to check out the difference between what the text and Mister. Kennedy considers visual literacy and how it is a universal vocabulary and we could look how it can influence communication and global understanding. This is an universal terminology and it is the hope that individuals will all be aware of it and use it daily.
